Classes at the Creative Connection
Posted by Cindy on Saturday, September 17th, 2011
The first class I took at the Creative Connection was "Romancing the Wristlet" taught by Debbie Murray, Shea Fragoso and Heather Ales. Fantastic Class ladies! Debbie and Shea are a Mother and Daughter team that own the Gilded Life.
We started with a metal bracelet. We used a decoupage method by ripping scrap book paper into strips and covering the bracelet.
Add netting over the dried paper......
Add your trims, laces, and jewels (notice the vintage buttons I bought on Wednesday). And you too can create this beautiful bracelet.
Emma Burke and Kathleen Maibauer were sitting at our table.
Here is Emma's wristlet, she owns Fl(h)air Accessories.
Off to Lunch....We had lunch with with Char and Tauni. Char is the blogger of Crap I've made and Tauni is the creative mind behind Snap the Conference.
My last class of the day was a photography class with two amazing photographers, Diane Cu and Todd Porter.
I came away with a much better understanding of how to improve my photographs....but don't look at my pictures too closely today. I have not put it all into practice yet.
Here is Christie Hund another creative women who has a great blog at CreationsByChristie.blogspot.com.
