Gifts from the heart

When you work on a quilt, you put a little of your heart in the project. I wanted to show the quilt I made for my husband this past Christmas.  He has been waiting patiently for a fabric line that he could call his own... Back Country by The Paper Loft, (an outdoor range with moose, trees and more) was released this past summer and this is the fabric he wanted for his quilt. No pink in this fabric... manly browns, greens with a small amount of gold tones.

I made this quilt with flannel by request and for the back I used soft matching dreamy-(minky). He loved it, which I was glad because I had no back-up gift for Christmas. This beats the socks, sweater and tie he got last year.

What homemade gift did you make for someone this past year?   Please Share!
