Quilts of Valor

Posted by Cindy on Thursday, February 16th, 2012

I wanted to share a beautiful story from Lynne of Page Arizonia.  Quilt of Valor is a  project that was started in July of last year. These ladies pieced all of these quilts and then Lynne quilted them. Each quilt was bound and labeled by the volunteers.  The quilts were finished just in time to be mailed on Veterans Day November 11, 2011 and the troops received them just before Christmas! Lynne's son, who is the commander, said that the troops were really amazed that someone would care enough to go to such work for them.  They were all extremely touched and grateful for the quilts.

Thanks again Lynne for your kind and thoughtful gift to our troops.
