Eleanor Burns visits Riley Blake Designs

We were lucky to have Eleanor Burns visit our warehouse last week, she was in town teaching at a conference for the Cotton Shop.  

     Eleanor enjoyed seeing all of our quilts and thought Deonn Stott's QR code quilt, featured at our booth spring Quilt  Market, was so clever.

We attended Eleanor's lecture Friday night (What Fun!) with Tales of the First Ladies and their Quilt Blocks.

 

Interesting coincidence, Deonn and I just filmed a tutorial on Thursday using one of Eleanor's fantastic rulers. *Watch for Deonn's basic quilting tutorial at the end of the month.

Also, today on Cutting Corners College you can enjoy a tutorial from Deonn on paperpiecing.

  3. I attended Elanore's class last weekend. She was so excited to visit your warehouse! When she came back to class the next day she couldn't say enough about how impressed she was. She was so excited that you gave her some new fabric. We can only hope to have her energy and excitement after 35 years of quilting! Just being around her makes me more excited to keep creating. It's contagious!
