Christmas Fabric lights

Since tomorrow is December 1st...I thought I would share this fun Christmas idea brought to you from Chrissy (on staff at Riley Blake Designs).  Given to her by her sister, these Christmas lights are embellished with fabric ties.  It is only one set of regular Christmas lights with strips of fabric. The fabric is 1" wide and 4 1/2" long strips, tied between the lights. 5 strips of fabric between each light. It would probably not meet fire code, so I would not leave it unattended. But isn't cute, you could do this with any holiday fabric right?

It is a bright idea!

And a great way to use your scrapes, easy to do and no sewing required.

  3. I love this idea! I definitely have to use it in my home. Also, if you use the new LED lights I think you'd be okay. I still wouldn't leave it unattended for any period of time, but then again lights are meant to be looked at, so if you're not in the room then be green and turn them off :D
