Anyone working on sewing projects today?

Posted by Cindy on Friday, December 21st, 2012

Who is still working like mad to get their sewing projects done for Christmas?

Here is my pile of fabric and I have a 3 days.

I always think I will have more time, get more done, and have more to show for my efforts...

But I did just pick up a quilt from the quilter for my son (thanks Connie).... and I had her add a little something from me.  Hopefully my early teen will not mind a little sentiment from his mom mixed with his sport quilt.

I also just finished last night my advent calendar I know it is the 21st!...It worked up easy...and it will be good to go next year.

Looking for easy last minute gift ideas....Make a laminate trash stasher and fill it with fruit. See how easy this is to make by watching our sewing video with Lila Tueller. This  item is so useful to have in your car, click here to view the tutorial.

Also pincushions are a great item to give away and always appreciated.  Click here to see today's sweet pincushion and view all the ones that have been created throughout the year.  I am sure you will find one you that catches your eye.

Merry Christmas and Happy Sewing!

  5. Still have 3 mitten/gloves to make. The mitten part can be folded back and then you have your fingers free. The pattern is a McCalls #M4681.
