This is my new favorite bag!
I am thrilled to be the last stop on Nancy Zieman's blog tour featuring a Hobo tote bag.

Below are the supplies needed to make this bag designed by Nancy, brought to you by Clover:
Trace and Create bag template,
Create a Strap interfacing
Shape and Create bottom
1 magnetic snap closure
4 D rings
1 pkg. bag feet
Choose your fabric:
I chose 5 different Riley Blake fabrics:
2 prints from our Geekly Chic collection, 2 polka dot basics and a lime green solid. (you can actually use 4 fat quarters for the outside section of the bag).
You will also need 1 1/2 yards of ribbon for the underside of the strap.
This pattern is very straight forward if you follow the directions step by step.
All four sections are pieced together and a accent fabric is added.
A stiff interfacing is then added and a bottom stabilizer is sewn in place.
Add bag feet.
Add pockets to inside lining, sew together lining and add magnetic snap closure.
Set the inside liner in bag and make sure it fits just right....you are almost done...
With right sides together sew outside edge leaving center section open...turning inside out, bind edge and add D rings.
Lastly, make straps using Create a Strap interfacing and line with ribbon on the underside, adjust to desired length.
Voila!
This is a big roomy designer bag.
Now I am ready to head out the door to find fun things to fill it with...
