Backyard Roses Blog Tour: Day 1 ~ Backyard Bunnies

Happy Monday! We are so excited to help Nadra Ridgeway kick off her Backyard Roses Blog Tour today! Nadra lives in a small town near Frankfurt, Germany.

Nadra’s fabrics have a signature look that incorporates bright, cheerful florals and charming coordinates that seem to mix springtime with a little of Grandma’s kitchen.

I decided to make these cute Archer Bunnies with each of the Backyard Roses main prints. Aren’t they just lovely? The pattern for Archer was designed by one of our very favorite softie pattern makers, Lucy Blaire, and can be found here.

The sweet little contrasting prints in the ears are such a fun touch!  But did you know, there is so much more to Archer than pretty looks?

Every morning, Archer likes to start off the day by greeting the pet fish. Hello, fish!

Next, Archer likes to sit down and enjoy a soothing cup of peppermint tea. Ahhhh!

Archer is a budding novelist. After sifting through e-mails, surfing social channels and getting caught up on the days’ news, Archer begins typing, furiously unleashing all of that pent up creativity.

After awhile, Archer feels the need to rest from writing by sitting down with a favorite book in a bright, sunny window. Sigh. A perfect ending to a perfect day.

Thanks for stopping by and spending time with Archer today!

Be sure to follow along with the Backyard Roses blog tour for more ideas and inspiration!
