We had such a fun time at Spring Quilt Market this year and we're super excited to share some of the amazing projects and fabric collections displayed there.  One of our favorite items on display was this absolutely stunning quilt by SLO Studio, called "Cumulative Effect."  This quilt was made entirely with Riley Blake basics - Damask, Dot, Stripe, Stars, Quatrefoil, Chevron, Houndstooth, etc. The result is bright, modern, geometric and beautiful!  It's time for Block 19 of Lori Holt's Bloom Sew Along! Our quilt is almost finished! Today's block is a lovely one, don't you think? We made our block out of Lori's Calico Days fabric line. We just love the combination of pink and red with a sunny pop of yellow in the center. Kerri, from The Fabric Stasher, made this fantastic bulletin/idea board out of an old screen door and her Bloom Sew Along Blocks.  Happy Monday! We are in Week 18 of Lori Holt's Bloom Sew Along. Our quilt is really taking shape now! This week's block is just adorable, don't you think? I mean, who couldn't love heart flowers? These are so sweet in blue, but would also be lovely in red or pink. We love the text print on the leaves - such a fun detail! This block was made with Lori Holt's Calico Days fabric line.   Hello everyone, I am Sachiko from Tea Rose home! I had a chance to work with Amanda Herring's new beautiful line of Desert Bloom and designed this quilt "Fly Away". It is a simple quilt to make with half hexagons, but the way of putting the fabrics together make butterfly looking shapes instead of hexagons. Happy Friday! This has been a fun week for Nadra Ridgeway's Backyard Roses Blog Tour! We have enjoyed looking at the finished projects of several very talented blogger-sewists.
