  Today I'm sharing a tutorial for a new Half Apron Pattern, using the gorgeous Willow fabric collection by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Designs. I used the fabric prints as inspiration to create a Flower Dresden Pocket on each side and a little pleated detail down the center! If there is one thing that we like to make over at Simple Simon and Company it would be skirts. (Lots and lots of skirts.) The kids are back in school (OK I am trying not to be too excited about that) and time for the learning to begin.  What is the best advice you ever got from a teacher?    Mine: Mrs. Anderson, my 8th grade Algebra teacher's advice given to the entire class. Butterfly Pincushion

The days are getting shorter and I can feel summer starting to slip away.  So today I will enjoy the flowers.....everything is in bloom including my butterfly bush.
