Bloom Sew Along: Block 16

It's time for Block 16 of Lori Holt's Bloom Sew Along! We are having so much fun watching this quilt begin to take shape! Today's block is a simple oval flower with a smaller oval center. We used Lori's Calico Days fabric line to make this block, but the clean lines of this flower could lend itself to a more modern look with the use of solids, if that's more your style.  Jina, of Jina Barney Designs, made this next block using various Penny Rose reproduction and vintage-inspired prints.  Happy Monday! We are so excited to help Nadra Ridgeway kick off her Backyard Roses Blog Tour today! Nadra lives in a small town near Frankfurt, Germany. Nadra's fabrics have a signature look that incorporates bright, cheerful florals and charming coordinates that seem to mix springtime with a little of Grandma's kitchen. Happy Monday! Welcome to week 14 of Lori Holt's Bloom Sew Along! This week's block features this fabulous bull's eye flower that could take a quilter on a traditional or very modern path!
