Sewing Basics on Tuesdays! Because of all of the positive feedback on our binding basics class taught by Deonn Stott we have decided to offer a sewing basic class once a month. Look for our sewing basics classes on the second Tuesday of each month. A big Thanks to Deonn for teaching this monthly tutorial. I have known Deonn for about a year; she is very talented and shares her talents by teaching sewing basics to 4H students. The quilt featured below took third place at the HMQS fabric challenge contest last May. Riley Blake Designs sponsored that event and we are the proud sponsors again this year. Say Hello to Samantha Walker.

Samantha designed our first Wanna be a Cowboy line in 2009 which was an instant hit. Here is a rag quilt made by Samantha out of flannels from the first Wanna be a Cowboy line. You will never catch Samantha without a brightly colorful purse hanging off her shoulder, she loves color and her fabric shows it.
