Fabric and Fun in New Orleans

Bret and I recently went to New Orleans and enjoyed the food, the music and the architecture. This is Emeril's kitchen in New Orleans...the best food around.

The live Jazz music made us melt in our seats. And the beautiful homes located by Tulane University made us stop and stare. I love the colors of this store front....I will never get tired of red and aqua. The buildings lined up in the french quarter where charming both in color and design. Quilts of Valor

I wanted to share a beautiful story from Lynne of Page Arizonia.  Quilt of Valor is a  project that was started in July of last year. These ladies pieced all of these quilts and then Lynne quilted them. Each quilt was bound and labeled by the volunteers.  The quilts were finished just in time to be mailed on Veterans Day November 11, 2011 and the troops received them just before Christmas!
