Spring Market 2010

Minnesota 2010 we wanted to show off our colors. We worked with an amazing company, and they brought the vision of our booth to reality. We wanted to display our fabric on walls...and this is what they came up with. Here is Jina showing it off. spring m1 (300x200)

HMQS Fabric Challenge

We wanted to thank everyone who participated in the HMQS fabric challenge sponsored by Riley Blake Designs. $4,600 dollars was raised last weekend from the live auction of all of the challenge quilts. This is the most money ever raised from a HMQS fabic challenge. All proceeds will be donated to PJs Forgotten Children. Thank you ladies for sharing your talents for this worthy cause and thank you for all of the generous bidders. We would like to introduce two of our new designers. Melissa Snyder Wood and Rebecca Snyder are sisters that have combined forces to create Melimba & Beccabury. rainy days pic1 (600x450)

They come from a long line of quilters and grew up in a crafty environment. In turn, they developed a love for anything with great design and color. They have continued their interest in the arts at Brigham Young University where Melissa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing and Rebecca is currently working toward her degree in Graphic Design. Now that we have "Bloom and Grow" back in stock, I wanted to share pictures of this fantastic quilt that is hanging on our wall at our warehouse. This is called "Garden Party" and is designed by Green Fairy Quilts. Beautiful! b and g quilt 2 (450x600)

Also, how can you resist this quilt...it makes me smile every time I walk past it. It is Designed by Zan Taylor and the quilt is called Gilbert.
