Riley Blake Designs went live today.  I was asked to be on Studio 5 (a local station), and talk about our fabric tree at quilt market plus five projects using Riley Blake designs fabric. Here is Jina and I before the show...Jina helped me set up and also helped calm my nerves.

We have a quick and easy tutorial on Cutting Corners College taught by Angela Ellsworth.  Look how fun Riley Blake fabric looks in hoops.

New headband tutorial

Here is great new tutorial from The Quilted Fish posted on Cutting Corners College. Jina and I showed how to create this headband (using Amanda's instructions) last fall at schoolhouse in Houston. The headband is reversible and the added crochet flower is a clip on and can be easily removed.

The finalist have been chosen and now the Voting begins.  We will have two weeks of voting and then we will announce the winners on June 9th.

A big thanks to everyone who entered!  We loved seeing all of the great apparel items that you created. It was so hard for the RB staff to decide on only 10 finalists. The good news is that everyone who posted a project will be automatically entered into our drawing for a Caribbean cruise.

More pictures of Market.  Daydream by Cyndi Walker is a personal favorite.   I especially love the quilt designed by Amber Johnson of Gigi's thimbles on the bottom left.

Who does not love red and aqua together.  Another great line, Sugar and Spice from the Quilted Fish. Trick or treat by Doodlebug designs just arrived at our warehouse and was on display at our booth.   More pictures to come. ...read more

We loved having Quilt Market in our home town.  It made us want to put on our best show for Salt Lake City and let everyone know what Riley Blake Designs is all about. Here is the front of our booth featuring Hoo's in the Forest by Doohikey Designs set to be released in June.
