Bloom Sew Along: Block 7

 Welcome to week 7 of Lori Holt's Bloom Sew Along! This week's block features a single flower in lovely shades of blue and yellow. Each block is made using Lori's Bloom Templates, which are sold in local and online quilt shops.   Cindy put together this sweet block, using hand applique and fabrics from Lori Holt's Calico Days collection. You can hand or machine applique the pieces to the block.  Amy Smart, from the Diary of a Quilter blog, made this version using fabrics from Andrea Muller's Vintage Kitchen collection.  Okay, we know we're jumping the gun a bit, but how can we not think Spring when we are surrounded by these beautiful colors, patterns and floral prints? Aren't they fun?
