Domestic Diva Table Runner Tutoria
1.
Fussy Cut 4 1/2" squares from the Domestic Diva's fabric showing the Domestic Diva's at work . picture
I cut 8 Diva's for my Table Runner. Finished Table Runner size is approx. 10 1/2" x 73"

Cut 8 - 2 1/2" Squares from the light fabrics for each Block ( = 64 light squares) Either iron the squares in half on the diagonal or mark with a pencil. (this will be your sewing line)

3.
Cut 4 - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles from the medium/dark prints for each block.
Also cut 4 - 2 1/2" squares from the medium/dark prints, for each block.
Sew the light 2 1/2" squares as shown to the med./drk. rectangle's, following the sewing line you either ironed in or marked with a pencil.

Trim leaving a 1/4" seam allowance

It will look like this.

Press open.

5.
Sew another light square to the other side as shown. Trim and press open.

It will look like this. (you will make 4 of these).

6.
Sew the med/drk 2 1/2" squares to 2 of the rectangle pieces, as shown on the left in this photo. (one square on each end)

Sew the smaller rectangle pieces to 2 facing sides of the fussy cut square, as shown.

Sew the longer rectangle pieces to the remaining two facing sides of the fussy cut square

Tah Dah! Block completed

I used one of the light fabrics as sashing for the Table Runner. Cutting 1 3/4" strips. Sew these strips in between each block and the ends, then sew the remaining strips to both sides.
I used left over fabric cut into strips and sewn together, for my backing. Quilt and Bind.

1/4 yard of cream Diva Main
3/8 yard cream Diva Dot
1/4 yard green Diva Cupcakes
1/4 yard green Diva Damask
3/8 yard of cream Diva Apron for sashing and border
7/8 yard for back
1/2 yard binding
