Back to School- Reusable Lunch bag
Posted by JessicaO on Monday, July 30th, 2012
This lunch bag is easy to make and maintain! Using the Riley Blake Laminates they can be easily sewn, and wiped down with a wet cloth.

Materials:
Cut 1- 8.5" X 25" outer bage/
Cut 1- 8.5" X 25" lining

Sew:
Fold both pieces of material in half with right sides together (each piece should measure 8.5" X 12.5".
Sew up both sides

Open the bag and fold the bag so the two new sewn lines are matching.
Measure from the point you just made at 1.75". Mark a line, sew on the line, trim leaving a .25" seam allowance.

Repeat for other three points.

Turn the outer fabric right side out, leave the lining fabric wrong side out.
Slide the liner fabric into the outer fabric. Match the seams on both sides and pin.

Sew around the top with at least .5" seam allowance. Trim threads.
Using pinking shears trim to .25" to make a finished edge.

Instructions for the bag with a handle can be found on my website: http://mamajamaquilts.blogspot.com/2012/07/reusable-lunch-bag-riley-blake-laminates.html
