Michael Davison is a seasoned quilting professional and respected certified national educator based in Dallas, Texas. With a passion for textiles and a talent for design, Michael's quilts are known for dynamic use of color and pattern.

Michael designs both fabric and patterns. He is most fascinated with color and contrast while also creating interesting relationships with texture and lines He admires the crafters that lived before him and is inspired by everything from ancient mosaics, marble floors, inlaid wooden boxes, and vintage textiles, to nature itself. Michael's patterns focus mainly on paper piecing, but not always. His goal in all patterns is to create interesting spaces for quilters to fill with fabrics that excite them. View his website here.
